About me
I am a retired special education teacher as of 2004. I love to cook and have become a food network junkie as I love to get new ideas !!!! I am the proud Mother of 2 daughters who also love to cook and it is such fun to share recipes. Best reward---my husband loves to try them all!!!! Recently, I have discovered that I need to watch my cholesterol, and am eating much healthier when it comes to the main entrees. But, I will never out grow my love of desserts and chocolate. So, I have learned a lot about size of my portions. I am a crafter, cardmaker, quilter, etc., Life is good and am enjoying every minute of my new found freedom ----retirement with my husband and family!!! Always time for traveling and trying new foods wherever we go!!!

Hello my new cookin' buddy.

Mmmm... salmon. If you're like me and you can't get enough of dill, you could try whipping up some of Mahdur Jaffrey's Dilled Rice to go with your salmon. It's so delicious. http://www.grouprecipes.com/103487/madhur-jaffreys-dilled-rice.html
Enjoy! :)

Hello fellow Barbie!

Hi Barbiedoll, thanks for accepting my invite. I look forward to trying and sharing recipes with you,Denny

Hi. Thank you for the comments/rating re Artichoke Tomato Mozzarella Side Dish. Hope you & yours enjoy.

Update: So glad you liked the dish. Thank you for getting back & taking the time to share... And accepting my friend/cooking buddy invite. (I'm a Native New Yawka, as well -- Manhattan.)

I was so pleased to get your friend invite & I am very happy to accept. I sure appreciate your comments on my recipes & hope you enjoy trying them out. Grandmacooks was actually the one who posted the step by step pictures on my recipe for Citrus Crown Cake. She had made it & loved it & was kind enough to post her pictures. I love the picture of your Bichon. I had one, Angel, for 11 years & lost her 2 winters ago with her heart. I will always miss her. She was the most gentle, fun loving little dog. Home just isn't the same without her.

Saw you were one of people who liked the Garlic Chicken on another foodies page. Talk about neighbors. My profile says buffalo ONLY because most peeps wouldn't know what a Cheektowaga is...

I would love to be your cooking friend and share recipes with you.
