About me
I am happily married. I have three great children and seven wonderful grandkids. I enjoy cooking and have been cooking since I was a teenager. I would really love to meet new friends and get some new ideas and learn about how others cook. I hope that I can provide you with some interesting recipes. I cook healthy at times, but mostly I cook southern food. We grow our own veggies, potatoes, herbs and some fruits. We also raise goats, chickens, and cows. We do not eat the chickens or goats, but we do get our eggs from the chickens. I am looking foward to trying lots of recipes and sharing. I love almost any kind of food. I love shrimp but am allergic to it. :confused: Don't worry, I will be posting recipes shortly :-)

Well we probably have similar tastes. NC and Ky are molded together. I live in Louisville which has a foot in both the North and South. Most of my recipes are old family fare which is a mix of Suthren, Country, Scottish. My grandmother tought me how to cook but I did not use the training until recently. I thank you for the invitation and will certainly accept.
