About me
I am a Canadian who enjoys adventure and the wonders of the outdoors. You could find me foraging in the woods for wild edibles, reading in the sun, or climbing trees and rolling down hills with my 4 children. Life isn't very long so enjoy every mimute of it. I get bored of preparing the same meals the same way day after day, so I experiment alot, and it usually turns out pleasing to the young critics. My one true failure was 'apple soup', the only food my children say they will never try again.

I'm going out of my mind with excitement over an outing I have scheduled for Halloween night at a restaurant about 40 minutes out of town (from Montreal) call Les Jardins Sauvages. It's a neat place tucked away in the wilderness where the proprietor is a forager and his wife is an acclaimed chef. He hunts/forages all morning and she cooks everything up that night.
