About me
I'm a self taught cook who's not afraid to improvise & alter most recipes. I enjoy homey, casual food that friends & family linger over even after the wine is gone.When I went back to work my hubby became a stay at home dad & is no longer afraid of the kitchen. We try to cook together but there's never enough room for both of us (at least not psychologically) in the kitchen. My 18 month old son has discovered the joy of McNuggets & unfortunately semolina pasta is replacing veggies as a preferred food. .

I've found that sour cream makes the best, creamiest mashed potatoes - and garlic never hurt any food I've eaten it in...will try this next time I make mashed.
