About me
I'm a single working mom who inhabits a house with my teen aged son and many of his friends. I really like to cook, though not so much for dinner every night, so soups, stews and chilis have become real freezer staples. I have a real aversion to mass produced food, and prefer to make big weekend batches for use over the coming weeks. I also like to cook competitively, making jams, jellies, salsa, condiments and candies for the local county Fair (much to the pleasure of my friends, and my sons') I lot of the recipes I use cal for jam, because we usually have a lot on hand!
