    This recipe is AWESOME!! I'm still cooking it since I started back when I came across it. For the kids' bdays they request them. My family wants them at least once every two weeks. We have moved 70 miles away from home since I found this recipe and we have a friend that drives down to eat them and so we have to let him know ahead of time that we are cooking it otherwise he gets upset. So, you should REALLY try this out if someone is willing to drive 70 miles to eat it.

    This is a fantastic recipe! I soaked my raisins in rum and used fresh pineapple. If like me, you use a bunt pan, grease it up really well because mine stuck a bit. I also tried a mini-loaf version and they came out really well.

    HI Bitsyskitchen, yours is the first recipe I tried off of this site and let me tell you that is the most fabulous carrot cake ever. I have tried many recipes and this is by far the best and the one I will go to all the time now. It got great reviews from the family and is definetly 5 forks up.     Thanks for the hint on letting the dough rest. You have given me hope to attempt a "deep dish" yet again. The other thing that I did wrong was the bulk sausage layer fused as one giant patty when cooked and all the cheese on the bottom separated into layers....it was pretty bad. That is why we have pizza parlors...to make what we mere mortals can not do. LOL Thanks for answering my question. Have a great day, dear. Added bitsy's kitchen as a favorite on my computer, too.

    Awesome looking pizza avatar! Really cool, I have failed miserably with my last two attempts at a deep dish. My dough is too stretchy and won't stay spread out in the pan.

    We love Jamaice. We have stayed at Sandals Montego Bay once, Braco Village which It is now something else, maybe Swept away I am not sure. We have also been to Sandals Whitehouse 3 times Our favorite. This time we are going to Beaches Boscobal because we are bringing the kids.

    I’m just passing on some information that I read somewhere.
    GR does not properly read the “&” symbol when it is used in a recipe title. I don’t know if it will in other places.
    I’m told the word And should be used and the “A” must be capitalized. I have not tested this myself.
    So with your Cheese & Onion..., you may want to try this or perhaps just a N.

    Perhaps you can help me. I have added one restaurant to My Places but have not found a way to add more. How did you do it?
