About me
6-5-08 Just joined , thanks to a great co-worker of mine. I am obsessed about food. Since I've moved 10 times, I have a great collection of recipes. I also teach Foods and Nutrition (Home Ec) at the high school level. 7-12-08 Just joined a brand new group. Check it out...Quinoa Is Quool . This great ancient grain is FINALLY catching on in the states. It's very high protein and really delicious. I particularly love to use it in veggie or shrimp and veggie stir-fries. HMMMMM... I've been teaching my high school kids about this grain for several yrs. Start your own children on this now while they are young. It's great cooked up for breakfast - just use some brown sugar and raisins. Protein is the way to start their day. Try it! 10/13/09 I've become a strong follower of Dr. Fuhrman. Now the recipes are evolving, the food changing. All good! Gave up sugar, gave up cheese and white products. THIS is the secret of health and weight control. Currently working on revamping recipes. You CAN eat all you want.
