About me
I am getting married in a few months, my fiance and I are OBSESSED with the cooking channel, I also like Discovery Health's cooking show. I recently got more into cooking, although I have been cooking for myself since I was 15. I consider myself beginner-intermediate cook, and a solid intermediate baker.....Come from an Italian family where all the recipes were home-made, from scratch, authentic Italiano. I am marrying into a Jewish family full of great cooks as well. Me, I try and turn these delicious recipes into lighter versions, with just the same "yum" factor...this is a challenge!!!! Don't get me wrong, there are some things that can not be changed too much without changing the dish (or losing the flavor). This is why my meals are light--and my desserts are decadent! Less guilt involved, haha. Feel free to share healthy tips with me ! I love to entertain, and would love to become an "expert" by the time I have children. I want my family to enjoy our meals, and look at healthy foods in a positive light! Looking forward to sharing some dishes with all of you!!
