About me
Love to eat, cook, love to bake (mainly to bake and take). Don't stick to recipes except when baking. Healthy is my goal, but real butter is sooo good. Like to know what is in the food I eat and avoid artificial ingredients, so almost everything is from scratch. I do like to keep it fairly simple, so shortcuts are always good. Friends and family do say simple to me isn't necessarily simple to them. I'm writing a cookbook for my family since lots of my recipes are just in my head, including many passed down from my mother and grandmother. It would be a shame to lose them.
