I have a new group on RAW Milk....yep, right from the cow. You know there are places where you can get fresh milk and I would like to share some recipes and good handling tips for your fresh milk. We have a Jersey and her name is "Lily". What she gives us is white gold and I love my cream in my coffee in the mornings!! wow....ever have fresh cream from a cow? It is wonderful. I'll be posting my recipes as time allows to but please feel free to try them out and find a farmer who can get you some good healthy fresh milk. Mmmmm!

Hey Everyone...Sorry I haven't been here, but I have a good excuse!
MY MOM had a lung transplant and I have been in MN helping to get her home, etc... And guess what? She wants Sauerkraut Soup.
Anyone have some good recipes? I am open to suggestions, even though I have great ideas! Let me know. Thanks, Roxanne

Yes,I do know what you refer to,and when kids are around a farm or ranch they learn alot.Somehow a parent just does'nt need to sit down and have that so called 'Talk'...anyway,we didn't as kids growing up.
Grandad was out in the field one day, reached down and took a hand full of that 'Red Earth'letting it sift through those large, cracked hands, looked me square in the eye and said,"This is what it's all about...The Land!"
If I get to feeling low or a little full of myself,I can always go and walk the place, feel closer to the 'Maker'and come to center somehow.
Kind Regards
Joyce
