About me
As I have gotten older, I have changed my philosophy on cooking....eating out wastes valueable clothing money when you have two kids and want to dress like you don't have any. I do have a hard time with sharing recipes due to the nonmeasuring portion of my cooking, but if you can go by what it looks like or feels like I am great at explaining.
Cooking is a release at the end of the day expecially when my husband does the dishes!!!
I regularly cook with my sister-in-law which sounds harmless enough, but you don't know her. The most recent experience was in Belize on a missioin trip cooking for 30 people with no hot water, no can opener (but then again you have to snap the beans to eat them), and lots of wonderful ripe fruit. I came back to the states with 30 pounds of the best brown sugar in the world.
She also tends to volunteer me for 300 to 400 people catering jobs and use as few people as possible. These are some of the most stressful fun times. Just ask my husband, when you buy salad making for 300 to 400 people at a (few) grocery stores people think you raise rabbits. LOL
One day she will own a catering bussiness and stop all the craziness! or at least the free labor craziness!!!!
Just as a personal note....I am a 7th and 8th grade math teacher which generally says I am crazy!!!! I have two children a boy that is 6 and a girl that is 7.
