    I'm so sorry I missed replying to you! I have missed a LOT of questions/comments it seems. The can I use is coco Lopez 12 oz. It's usually found in the section for mixers for alcoholic beverages. It's used in Pina Coladas. Hope that helps. And I apologize again for the long wait in replying.

    I'm glad you feel the same about not cooking when it's hot. Like you, we've been eating the simple things. Yesterday John (husband) said he fancied a big stew with dumplings. I bet you can guess what my answer was!! Here, at this time of year, the Spanish eat a lot of interesting salads. The idea is that you make a salad with all the usual stuff - then add extras - any kinds of fruits, nuts, veg that you wouldn't usually think of putting in a salad like courgettes - I think you call them zucchini over there, aubergine, cabbage, cold meats, etc. and then do baked potatoes in the microwave. Any salad dressing you want, some crusty bread ....goes down really well with a glass of something cold!!!

    Hi there - we've been busy painting the house and I haven't done much cooking - just using whatever's quick and easy. Before we started I cooked up batches of Quiche, Stews and pies for the freezer and we've been having those or stir frys or BBQs - it's really hot here now, up in the high 30's. I like the sound of your Cheesy Cheese Chicken so I've bookmarked it for later. Did you find stuff for Mr Kitty? I have a cat too - she's called MollyMouse and she's the boss around here!
