Hi. I'm a retired old fart from northern Minnesota. I love to mess around in the kitchen, especially in the winter. I'm carnivorous, but I ingest vegetable matter once in a while to keep things moving, so to speak. I love curry but I prefer spicy heat to be at the medium level. ..........................OK .... it's time for the seasonal editing. Not much more time to grill on the deck. It's no fun when the furnace kicks in every time you slide the deck door open to flip the steak on the hibachi. Soon we'll start using the oven for all the hardy stews and baked dinners I've printed from your postings. Thank you for that. ................. The reason for my name is the greatest love of my life next to my family. The cabin. I'm there every spare minute of the summer. ..................... Time to edit this part, too..... The last weekend of September I drained the water system, pulled out the boat, brought home the paint that was up there, and cried all the way home. I know my little squirrel buddy will be alright with the 50 lbs of sunflower seeds he unabashedly ate on the deck, or made off with. ...... Now make yourself useful, and dig out and post your grandmother's rib sauce for me.
