About me
I love to cook! I started cooking about 20 years ago while living in South Carolina. I spent 20 years in the Marines and did a lot of traveling and always tried to learn how to make the food native to the country or region I was living in. I was a missionary kid and Grew up in Brazil, so my cooking is greatly influenced by Brazilian food. Basically I love food from all over the world and love trying new things. Hopefully by joining this site I can share some of the things I have learned along the way and also learn a lot from other great cooks out here!

Hope you don't mind that I added this recipe to the Brazil group. This is exactly how they cook rice in Brazil, sometimes using onion instead of garlic.
