About me
I was born in South Africa and am currently living in Oxford, England. Was forced to clear my plate as a child with a Mother who's cooking left little to be desired so I have an adventurous pallet, will eat anything and try just about everything lol I like to try my hand at art and make things out of paper mache, I draw and paint but my first love has to be mosaic, there's a certain satisfaction to smashing up tiles and making something beautiful with it. I also make home made wine, preferably with free ingredients from mother nature's larder, bought myself a book on edible wild fruits and veggies, £3 well spent! and it's fun! to identify trees and plants that have a good wine potential while walking the dog. I have made a group for the wine recipes and hope that some of you ladies and gents join me in this fascinating, cheap (costs me about 50pence a bottle) and easy art of making wine, the group is called "COUNTRY WINES" With a small cash outlay to get you started, about £30 or $40 a little cupboard space somewhere to let them ferment and before you know it you have a lovely wine to treat your friends and family with! I started making wine because of the credit crunch! it became so expensive to buy any wine or alcohol at a reasonable price. My first endevours into the world of wine making is paying off and I will be enjoying an alcoholic Christmas this year.... cheers (hic)
