About me
I have been cooking for "many" years and love to try new recipes. My husband is a "type 2" diabetic, so I try hard to fix recipes with low carbs that are tasty. I love to bake, but search out recipes that have low carbs also. It is all a big challenge, but we both manage to keep our weight down by eating this way, and we have gotten used to eating more fresh vegetables and less potatoes and pasta, although I still love pasta. I am retired now and and have an extensive cookbook collection, love to read and play the piano for my own pleasure. Searching the internet for recipes is also something I like to do, plus keep in contact with many friends.
