About me
I am a Southern girl (born in Memphis, TN) who has lived in the North (Ohio) for much of my life. 5 years ago, my husband and I relocated to a place we have fallen in love with - coastal North Carolina. My mother is an excellent cook, as was her mother, so I guess I come by it naturally. I prefer "simple home-style" meals-the same as I grew up eating (if it has too many ingredients, I either "fix" that by deleting ingredients or I bypass the recipe altogether). I have inspired some of my co-workers to cook again, with my simple recipes (much to the delight of their families). At work, I am often asked, "so, what did you cook for dinner, tonight?" When I describe the recipe, I'm told, "I can do that!"- and they do:-)
