As for your photos:
1. GR is quirky and sometimes you just have to come back later to try posting stuff.
2. When it is being quirky, don't try to post things twice in a row as many times you will end up with a double post that you can't delete. e.g. look at photos I have posted and you will see duplicates for the same recipe - I can't delete them.
3. Check the size of your photo. Is it too large?
4. What is the file extention for your photo? I'm not sure but I think this site only takes .jpeg photos.
5. I really am guessing so...

The site doesn't seem to like my photos - it says it is uploading them, but they never appear - anyone got any suggestions?

Welcome to GR. You'll find lots of good recipes, good friends and groups that will have like interests.

Look forward to seeing some Authentic recipes from your country. Please. Oh and we love it when some history or explanation of the dish is included. Thanks.

Enjoy your stay.

Sounds delicious. How much salmon do you normally use?

I usually ask the guy on the fish counter to give me roughly half a salmon without skin/bones, I guess around 500-600g? I use the same amount as I would usually use for 2 or 3
