I grew up surrounded by passionate cooks and spent most of my career in food service. I operated a niche catering business for a few years, then decided to become a freelance writer and food blogger. I love to share recipes with others, attend cooking classes, take cooking vacations and read cooking magazines. In addition to cooking, I enjoy gardening and growing as many of my own foods as possible.
