About me
I'm Cat (Cathy) from Texas. I love collecting old cookbooks and recipe collections from estate sales. I have millions of recipes that I have collected from said estate sales, garage sales and friends, co-workers, etc. I also write recipes and was fortunate to inherit the family collection in 1980 which consists of a long line of cooks dating back to the early 1800's. My husband and I love to entertain and we host monthly international theme dinner parties and poker parties so we can try out new recipes on or family and friends as well as indulge on the goodies they bring. I hope you enjoy the recipes I post here and I look forward to reading and sharing your delights as well. Meow

Meow my darling, how could you send out such a recipe!!, Beef Melancholy!, with no thyme!, bay leaf!, oregano! this ratatouille dish cries out for them!!, to discover the garlic!(remove!!!) non!, this is Ratatouille a' boeuf saute', no wonder it is melancholy!, no damn soul left to it!!, the person who wrote and used this must have had issues with a)the family they cooked for, b)hated her husband, c)been totally and irredeemably stupid!!. Love ya babe, bear.

Chef Cat, I just realized I answered something that was not directed at me. I am sorry. I just can't contain myself about the difference fresh herbs make.
