    just wondering if anyone saved some batter to use later, or if anyone cooked all the batter and then reheated the pancakes. I live alone and love love the pancakes best I have tasted but I would like to reheat if possible without loosing the fluffy pancake. Thanks.

    This is a fabulous recipe! I have used it for years and keep getting requests from friends and family for the recipe. I make it every year for our family Christmas party and made it for a baby shower yesterday. I always double the recipe because I use a pound of fresh crab meat (claw meat only) (never eat canned stuff, yuck!). I add more hot sauce and some Slap Ya' Mama seasoning (South Louisiana). I use a 14x8x3 curvy ceramic pan. There has not been a person I know that does not LOVE this recipe.

    Years ago you used to get recipe booklets in your bag of flour. This recipe was one in a booklet found in a bag of Gold Medal Flour. I have made it for years at Christmas. It is a family favorite and always requested as a 'must have' for Christmas. I simplified the steps by cutting them into rounds instead of squares. Next time I may simplify it further by using only one round and folding it in half.

    I have also been making these for years (about 50), and got the recipe from my mother who got it from my grandmother. I always thought that it was a family recipe. We always used a biscuit cutter, so you have a nice Cresent when you fold them over. We are located in the Ohio Valley area.

    So I was lead to your recipe by following a prompting. I have a bag of pork chops and a pumpkin and a crockpot. I wanted a recipe so I googled those three words and received the link to this recipe. Sounds great wish me luck. I will let you know what becomes of it.

    Delicious! Not only is this good on salad, my daughter started dipping her chicken into it and announced it was good that way too! It's very important to slowly drizzle the oil to get a nice thick, creamy dressing. Thanks CM!! Added more in the IMI ---------> Roasted Poblano Vinaigrette

    I have been enjoying your recipies for a long time now. Actually, my family thinks I am the best cook in the family since I started following your recipies. For that, I thank you.
    You seem to be very creative, and have a scientific knowledge of cooking skills. I was hoping you could direct me, or perhaps create a recipie for a Lemon Merrange Cake. Kinda like the Pumpkin Pie Cake where there is still creamy filling, but a crumble cake type topping. Thanks in Advance

    Hey there! I haven't been on this site in awhile but I remembered a recipe of yours and wanted to ask a quick question. Fall off the Bone Baby back ribs...can I use "beef chuck short ribs" and how will that effect the cooking time? I loved that recipe from what I remember.
