About me
Hi and thank you for visiting. I love to cook, its my favourite way to relax. Unfortunately I only get to cook properly at weekends as I always end up working late! I enjoy cooking new and complex dishes, I guess I like a challenge what ever I am doing. I have no idea why I only seem to list desserts, I suppose its because I rarely make/eat them so this is my release! I have travelled a reasonable amount and enjoy trying all kinds of things, most of which I still haven't a clue what they were (probably for the best!). I detest lamb/mutton, green peppers, peas and mint. Oh and the pic isn't me. Happy cooking, Mirella

What a beautiful cat. How do you do? Your dinner post in ODD sounds wonderful. I cook to relax too. It is only on weekends and it is usually a marathon to use the largesse through the week for lunches and quick dinners.

Hi Mirella, many thanks for accepting the invite and being my cooking buddy - Amna.

Hi Chiki Minki! That's a hoot because we've always pronounced monkey "minky" in our family. I think our pronunciation came from a Pink Panther movie in which Peter Sellers, in his French accent as Inspector Clouseau, asked someone "Is that your minky?" Love to be your cooking buddy!

Thanks for the invite... glad to be your friend... I will check forward your recipes... Annie :-)

Thanks for the welcome. I've never been into pastry much so looking forward to a fun initiation!

My Grandmother who was Irish/English always made this after our traditional Easter dinner of red potatoes, cabbage and boiled ham. I remember her making it in a large frying p

Chocolate Lake Pudding
YES. This sounds right. Chilling takes away merely underbaking to achieve that nice chocolate flow.

Hi Turtle, I'm not sure how well known Gordon Ramsey outside UK but in recent years he has been going back to this kind of traditional food. Things like steak and kidney puddi

I like the fried crust on corned beef hash or hash brown potatoes, so this B & S fried crispy sounds great! I'll have to try it! Thanks.
