Hi debbie?
thanks for the reply. Only a couple of days ago.I gave a lift to an americen tourist. We talked about the most important thing in life ,FOOD. I asked what cilantro is and she told me that the english (not american) name for it is coriander (the herb not the seed).Looks like flat leaf parsley with a very pungent aromatic smell and taste. could that be the one?

You asked what Cilantro was ... It is an herb used mostly in Mexican cooking. It grows quite easily and has a very distinct flavor. I don't know what else tasts quite like it. You might be able to order seeds online so that you can grow it at home.
