About me
I'm in college right now studying mining engineering. In my spare time I make up recipes and test them on my friends. Needless to say I am very popular amongst my friends. I haven't been able to test a lot of my recipes so I cook vicariously through people. I'm still learning, picking up tips, and slowly trying to master the kitchen. I'm also trying/testing how to can and make flavored cooking oils. My mother's side of the family is Cuban and my father's is German. I've learned island and spicy cooking from my family. I love garlic, cumin, and pork because of my mom and that side of the family! My grandmother (father's mother) has taught me A LOT about baking. She has been cooking for over 50 years and we trade recipes all the time.
