About me
I am a proud father of 4 kids and I have a beautiful wife that I love dearly. What started my "cooking bug" was the simple fact that my family and I are originally from Hawaii and while I was there, I took the availability of ALL the diferent cultural foods for granted. Once we moved (NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER) from Hawaii to the south, I learned that if I want to eat the food I miss, then I best be learnin how to make it. We have a STRONG liking to Hawaiian/ Asian/ Filipino/ Portuguese/ Puerto Rican/ Local Island flare types of foods. I'm all about sharing and learning whether it be cooking, or anything else. Like Forest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolate..."lol... I want to experience every flavor in that box called life and share my experiences as well. I am NOT affraid to try new things when it comes to food... So, if you have suggestions, recipes, dishes pleasse feel free to share them.... Glad to be here!!!!! Aloha, Jess

Visited Hawaii twice during r&r for my husband. What a beautiful place it is. So much interesting history and such loving, warm people. How could you not fall in love with them. I envy your childhood; how fortunate you are.
