no it is not a dumb question and you can use green olives and use a sweet onion if you want to or just leave out what you do not like. I have used the green olives when I was out of the black olives to me the green ones make it taste better to.

You won't be sorry that you are a member of this group it is a fine cooking site and every one are very friendly to so many good recipes the folks here will help you if you need it just ask someone and they will try and help you with anything.

I am a member of 5 other groups but thinking of bring all of my recipes over to this site as there to many "little Clicks" on those to much squabbling and I do not like that all act just like a bunch of jealous children. So in the next few weeks I am going to try and move every thing over here if I can figure how to do it.
