Our group varies from about 8-12 cooks. we meet in our church kitchen, cook about 4 hours once or twice a month. Usually make 2 different dishes. each person takes it home in whatever size containers suits their needs. A portion of everything is left in the church freezer to be used as needed in the congregation or community. After cooking and cleanup, we discuss what we'd like to do next time and decide when everyone can meet again. The same people do not come everytime- it is strictly "come when you can" Once you commit to a date though, you are obligated since grocery bills are involved. It has been a lot of fun and we've made some really good dinners.
