Hi there, My Moms was from Germany, born in Saarbrucken but spent time all over Germany (moved around as WWII got more active) but eventually wound up in Frankfurt/Main. I too moved to Germany in 1983 and stayed in Frankfurt until 1994. There are quite a few German recipes that I wished I had written down before my Mom passed away but me dummy never thought, she'd leave so suddenly.
