Thanks for the friend invite! Like you, I have scads of cookbooks and what seemed like a million clipped recipes. I finally took two days and organized the clipped ones in 3-ring binders from Walmart. They have a binder (Wilson Jones Premium) that opens with just the lightest touch of your finger and comes in many sizes. You need this feature when you have lots of stuff to organize. I taped the recipes onto plain white paper, using both sides. If the clippings were delicate, I put the sheet inside a clear plastic sleeve, also very inexpensive. Separate binders for sweet stuff and regular meals. I think I have a hidden streak of obsessive compulsive disorder! :-))

Aaaahhh! That is soooo sweet! It sounds like your Mom would be proud! I use to make things all the time that my Grampa and gramma would enjoy. It was cute because grampa would start making suggestions... :)

You sound amazing!! I also collect cookbooks and recipes...ok, honesty...if it looks like a recipe, I'm keeping it! I can't try everything but I can't get rid of it either because it could be something that is sooo good that I won't believe I never made it sooner! Yes, it's an obsession, but it looks like I'm not alone when I come to this site! I am sooo gonna try your crusty peach cobbler by this weekend! I have been hungry for peach anything and this recipe sounds awesome! :D

Hi Cooky. Thank you for the friend invitation. I really think that I'm going to enjoy this website. Since you love to bake yeast breads, check out the blog A Year in Bread, it's pretty much a primer on baking, but you may get some good recipes out of it too!
