About me
I'm not much of a cook; yes, I've actually burned water in the past (recent past), but I do enjoy eating, so I have a motivation to learn. I'm a travel nurse (with my husband), and instead of lugging around 15 cookbooks and snipettes, I'm using this site as my favorite recipe holder; just get online and find that ole recipe that I don't quite have memorized, or new things that I've found on the back of cans of soup or inside the pudding wrapper. I'll definately give credit to whom ever I've re-allocated recipes from, as well. Thanks.

Soak the venison in warm water. change the water 15 to 20 minutes.Until its clear. You get the blood out it takes the gamey taste away. Im a big hunter and have been doing it for years

Take it from me, burning water is far superior to burning down the whole house.

Welcome to the group! Hope you enjoy it! Love to know more about what you guys do as traveling nurses! Take care! -Ray

By the way...burning water is a right of passage! lol

My X wife was Latvian and I got the recipe from her....Bob

Oh my.....I thought my husband was the only human that found a way to burn water! True story. Thanks for the invite I'd love to be your buddie, especially since you have a summer rum cake recipe....

Thank you for the nice comment on my cinnamon roll recipe. It's really easy, I could make it in my sleep. If you have any questions, let me know. They're so yummy. I will not be making them for a while, though, we have a diabetic young adult daughter and we are trying to keep her blood sugar in check.

Thanks for being my cooking friend.
