About the crockpot soup.. I have never soaked my peas.. I left this soup in the crockpot for a good 8-9 hours and they were fine.. Maybe just check the peas you get at the store? I am not sure if there is a different brand that might be better???
Let me know how it turns out and good luck!!! Hopefully I am not wrong I am a beginner cook so I do not know all the tricks :)
