About me
Currently live in England but grew up in New Jersey, US. I have always loved to cook and have a weakness for chocolate, cheesecakes, Italian, Spanish,Mexican, seafood and pasta to name a few. Recently I have made many new breads using a bread machine. Despite my love of desserts lately my husband and I have been eating primarily vegetarian based meals and an abundance of fish and seafood. I do love to make new recipes. All recipes posted here have all been made by us and not just random selections from cookbooks or foodblogs. In addition to having cooked or baked all items , the recipes chosen are exclusive favorites. In some cases my husband and I have sufficiently tweaked some recipes to call them our own. I also collect cookbooks and have probably around 600 by now. One of my all time favorite cookbooks for cheesecakes is Joy of Cheesecake which came out in the early 80's. It is well worth looking for. Recently I worked on my own Google custom search engine to enable me to better find baking and/or dessert recipes from favorite foodblogs. This custom search engine will search over 50 different foodblogs that I have an emphasis on baked goods.
