    I am reviewing this because I made it and it was delicious.
    I was looking for something to replace the "Italian Cream Cake" they no longer sell at Sam's Club (Not to be confused with the coconut and pecan recipe that most people are familiar with!) and this came very close to what I was looking for.
    It took me longer than 40 minutes to prepare, but it isn't as intimidating as the long list of ingredients might make you think.
    MY ONLY ISSUE is that I had was that I got stumped by the glaze ingredients/instructions: Why was I supposed to add 1 tablespoon lemon juice to 3/4 cup of lemonade and THEN add that to an additional 1/2 cup of the same beverage - it didn't seem like that would make a difference HOW you mixed it, SO...I am wondering if "prepared lemonade" was at some point referring to Lemonade Concentrate or even the stuff you make from powdered drink mix.
    I just used one of the ready to drink, individual sized bottles of "Simply Lemonade" and wondered if that extra tablespoon of fresh juice even mattered.
    Whether or not I made this wrong, it fit the bill for what I wanted.
    The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was unable to follow the instructions exactly as written.

    I was reading your profile on here and looks like we have more than a little in common here. I also love Cooking Light as well, and love reading the innovative flavor combinations and cooking techniques they have there. I have a subscription too and read them all.
    Great news for you:
    My ex husband who is a rocket scientist is paying my spousal support again and believe me-it has given me a new world-THANK GOD for my good lawyer!!
    Also, I took my mom out for our Ladies Day Out....we had a great time and I got her hair colored, nails done and mine with it.

    I will be doing more things with her and sharing quality time.

    Hello Diana,
    It was nice to hear from you on my profile page here. I like hearing the story behind little "nick-nacks" and "what-nots" as I call them. I used to go to antique shops all the time when I was married and really got a kick out of doing it. My ex shared the same love I have of seeing part of history in a way.
    I would love to go to Hobby Lobby with you some time.

    I'm so glad you liked the photos! Yes, the spaghetti was soooo good! Mr Lillian loved it also! He said it reminded him of moussaka! I'll have to look for more Cooking Light recipes... its a much healthier way to eat!
