About me
I will try anything, from colonial American to medieval Japones. I like a challenge. I am English/Irish and will defend REAL British cooking to my dying breath - don't believe all the bad press about one of the worlds most underrated cuisines. Some years ago I learnt the basics of Cordon Bleu cooking and have never looked back. My main problem now is finding time to experiment as much as I would like to. I'm from the Irish royal line of Faeolin (Kings of Leinster and at times of all Ireland until the Normans kicked us out!), which probably explains why I am fascinated by the historical and cultural aspects of cuisine.

Four tips:
1. I copy everything I type before I click SUBMIT. That is because of GR's wonkiness. Sometimes it won't take and you have to retype everything. This way all you have to do is paste it back and try again.
2. When searching for certain things e.g. Groups, you have to click on the search button and not just hit enter. If you just hit enter it just takes you back to the same page.
3. When responding to questions on one of your recipes, consider putting it under ALTERATIONS rather than COMMENTS. Comments made dissapear in time, alterations will remain with the recipe for future viewers to see -- in case they have the same question.
4. Explore, Exchange and Enjoy.
