Hi DigDug. You commented on the Polish Rye Bread recipe that I submitted. My Mother-in-law and Father-in-law were born and raised in Poland. My Mother-in-law always put caraway seeds in her rye bread. I suppose it depends on what region ie. where one resides in Poland. The only reason I have caraway seeds listed as optional is because I personally do not like them.
