    I did this up a bit differently to get a thick sauce. I took the skin off of the thighs and trimmed the excess fat. I only had two thighs so I cut the sauce ingredients in half. I cooked the thighs covered with the lid of my dish instead of foil for 40 minutes. Then I poured off what little fat was in the dish and put half the sauce on the thighs. Cooked uncovered for 10 minutes, put the rest of the sauce on and cooked for the other 10. This made for what I thought was a pretty thick sauce and thick enough to end up pouring over my rice. It did not burn at all in the dish. The only thing I didn't get any taste of was ginger or Worcestershire. Not sure how the small amounts of these two ingredients can make a difference. I'd be interested to see if there was any taste difference if one left them out. Added a bit more to Ml2c's thread in IMI 8/22/15

    Loved the flavor this brings out, but the sauce does not get thick. I poured the sauce into a pan and reduced to get a thicker consistency, then just poured over the chicken at plating.     Wouldn't it make more sense to poke holes in the cake with the back side of a wooden spoon? Using a knife wouldn't allow the topping to seep in very much. Just a thought.

    WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! That joint is now on my list of places we have to go eat at!!! OMG! I swear there is NOTHING like a just scrumptous, well flavorfully balanced meal to enjoy, ONLY to be backed up by a ROCKIN cold beer or EXCEPTIONALLY well paired wine. Seriously I LIVE for these moments!

    OMG Abita Brew Pub!! My husband and I looooove going to this burger joint by us because they have quite the array on tap. Well Abita's Purple Haze is on tap every so often. SOOOOOOOOO good. One of our absolute faves!!!!! Oh the burgers at this place rock too. No they do really.
