About me
Youngest of 8 I grew up during the 60's and 70's, learned homecooking from my mom. became a chef in my late 30's single mom to 1. AM a true animal lover hence the dogfool name. Love just about all foods although I have a horrible seafood and fish allergy, that developed from handeling so much fish as a chef. I love the outdoors, taking photos and living in the country as much as cooking!

I get asked a lot about the pug in my picture. Actually, it's not mine. I fell in love with the picture when I found it online and started using it. Of course, the holidays are closing in and it's time to upgrade the avatar. The pug will be back in the New Year, though. Thanks for accepting my friend invite! :)

So glad you enjoyed my impromptu recipe. I made another one, last week, w/ the garden stuff, for me. Put in some hot seasonings. Go figure, my niece wanted to try it and I told her it would be a little spicy. She loved it. Ate 4 bowls. Going around telling every one that she loves eggplant and zucchini. Other parents are amazed at a kid loving those veggies. I finally tried it the next day and found it wasn't that great and that it would have to be too spicy for her. Go figure!

Hehehe....flattery will get you everything!!! Thanks for the compliment. At times though with 10 daycare kids plus my 6 grandkids I don't feel very young. It's funny, last week one of my daycare kids remarked that I was 28 years old...I kissed him on his forhead and told his mom I didn't want him to grow up! Only in the eyes of a child. God love them!
