About me
I am from Cyprus, it's a Greek island in the Mediterranean sea. I love cooking especially for my family and my friends but as I am a working woman and a mother of two children, I don't find much time lately, but I have many recipes to share with you.

I'm coming back! I love Greek food and need a few ideas!

Sorry being late to reply ,thanks for the invite .I'm not greek i'm arab, half syrien and half saudi so you find in my recipes a mixture of golf food and middle eastern food ,hope you'll find something that interest your taste and looking forward to sharing recipes.Greetings and happy new year

Hi Dona :)
No, I am not Greek (but my first boyfriend was, thus the nick-name :) My best friend (when I was a young girl) was Northern Italian, and another one (later as I grew up) was from Sicily. My first husband was French-Canadian, and my second is Scottish. But, I was born to Dutch-Canadian / British - American parents, and raised by Irish-Canadian parents! I guess I am as international as anyone else, these days!! :D
And, I love to learn all about the different cooking cultures of the world!!

Welcome....Tikanis!! Thank you for the friendly invite, I look forward to sharing recipes with you :)

Thanks for the invite! Michelle

Hi Dona..Thank you for your comment on the espresso chocolate tart.Infact, making cakes is only my hobby..Till now!!
Why didn't you check my latest post called REGULACH..I should have dedicated it to you..Check it please, you will have fun ;)

Hi Dona.Thank you for the invite.Believe me it is not important the real origin of Baklawa;Although most opinions say that the Assyrians were the first to make it,what is really important is that Baklawa is a so delicious dessert that all these people are debating and discussing of it's origin and they all claim it belongs to them.Baklawa is known everywhere around the world,in the U.S,Europe and middle East of course. That means it has many different versions and I am sure they are all good.By the way,in Egypt some people call it GULLASH,so is it a Greek word too??

Glad to be your cooking buddy, Dona!
