About me
Hi my name is Donnie, you can call me Donman or Donnie. I’m 50 years young and I’m from Hammond, La. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Pam for over 18 years. We have a combined total of 5 daughters ranging from 24-30 years old and have 6 grandchildren and one on the way due in October. (3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters). I became disabled several years ago due to heart trouble so now Pam works full time to help with the bills and I do whatever I can around the house. Up until a few years ago, I never cooked much of anything. I got hooked on the food network and started watching it all of the time. Now I try to cook all kinds of things. Some come out real good and some well not so good. I just keep trying and I must say that I seem to be getting better and better over time. I'm a NASCAR fan and I love to see Jeff Gordon win. If Jeff doesn't win, it doesn't matter who does as long as it's a good clean race. I’d like to thank all of you for all of ya’ll help with making me a better cook and all of the many recipes that have been shared :)

Hey Donnie, Thanks for 5 and comment on the smothered pork chops.Enjoy, Bobby

Hi Donman, Just wondering as a non-cajun...I love gumbo more than any other cajun dish but I don't see it very often in cajun cooking videos. Just wondering, how often do you make it , and I know it's a cold monthes dish, but I wondered how often you made it durring the cold monthes?

Your friend, Chris
