About me
I learned to cook from my Mom. Being the oldest, with 6 siblings, I learned to cook in large quantities. I'm still happiest when I can make a big batch of something. I cook from scratch, just not interested in prepared stuff. My husband of 45 years is always game to try a new recipe I've found. He's my best critic! Our three children were never fussy eaters, so I lucked out there. The two grandchildren, that's another story. I'm always looking for new recipes and this group looked like a great source, as well as making new friends with the same interests. I'm a quilter and have been sewing for more years than I can remember. Also, must have some knitting and crocheting going on all the time.
