About me
I love food. Everything about food -- taste, texture, color, aroma. I like to cook. And eat. And try new things -- recipes, gadgets, ingredients, spices. My cooking style is Mad Scientist -- I start adding things to a pot and see what happens. Sometimes it's wonderful, and I am the Iron Chef (of course, sometimes we also try new restaurants because there is something odd hiding in the trash or the dog is burping loudly). I have an interest in sustainable farming (local produce and meats, in season), organics and free-range, but I do not see enough of it in local markets to make this a primary focus.
