About me
Being a guy, for many years, my only real experience with cooking was barbeque, marinade, spicing. Then I wanted to cheesecake. What was a man to do? Jello kit. It was so wrong on so many levels! So, I began hunting down the recipes that made sense. Soon, I was baking chocolate marble cheesecake, praline cheescake, and good old N.Y.-style cheesecake. I soon branched out and was baking banana cream pie, Key lime pie, and other fun deserts. Lately, being a guy, I started on the road to retrace my roots. Povitica, pasties (these are meat-and-potato pies, NOT what strippers wear!), and other fine bits of growing up in a western mining town.
