My passion for food has been modified in recent years to include as many healthy food choices as possible. Aside from making the obvious changes in my diet that a lot of us are making these days- more fresh fruit and veggies, less
red meat, less sugar, restricting wheat, etc - I'm experimenting a lot with new dishes so as to stop myself from falling back into my former gluttonous ways. My daily diet isn't restrictive. On the contrary, I eat far more creatively than former times when I used to eat whatever I wanted. Now I choose to celebrate creative, healthy, fun dishes with touches of many different cuisines, not just French food like I was taught. I feel better than I have in years. I call this "conscious eating".
