About me
I grew up in a bake shop and worked for a year in a four star restaurant. I'm pretty enthusiastic about most food. I just found out that in addition to cinnamon, walnuts, oats, and dairy, I am also allergic to corn, wheat, soy, peanuts, and eggs! I love cooking and baking, and wish that I had more time to spend on them. Some of my most vivid memories of my childhood are of all the amazing food my grandmother prepared for any occasion she could find an excuse to. I grew up around food, and it cultivated a love and passion for it. One of my favorite tools is the cookbook my mother gave me when I went to college that was my grandmother's, printed in 1950. I am also very pro-organic, and pro-fair-trade. There are a lot more recipes on my blog- sorry, sometimes I don't have time to transpose from there to here!
