    thanks for the comments and the question on the
    Gluten Free Gnocchi Recipe

    I still have not tried this recipe.... but your question is a good one.... I would guess the recipe means cook 2 pounds of potatoes... or it could mean weigh out 2 pounds of mashed potatoes... I think it would be the second... excellent question of which I don't really know the answer..LOL..

    this is what I would do... I would cook extra mash potatoes and weigh the final amount to 2 pounds... if you can't weigh then I would mash 2 pounds and see how the mixture looks and add extra if you need to...
