About me
Fred (my hubby of 20 years) and I both love to cook. I'm originally from Texas, and love Southern cooking, Mexican food, and Maryland crab. We have 6 grandchildren (and one due in March), between us (my son and his daughter). We're a blended family and lovin' it. I love to try new recipes, while Fred likes the old meat and potatoes routine. We have adapted our menus to be healthy. He is a 7 year cancer survivor and runs marathons. I'm a walker .

I'm glad you liked my Momma's Goulash Recipe. Its one of my favorites, I guess because its a comfort food to me. I too have six grandchildren, but only one daughter. The three youngest ones live with my daughter and her husband the other three live with either their mother or as in one case her adopted grandmother. Its confusing, but its our life. I enjoy exercise as long as I have a comfortable chair to sit in as I watch the exercise going on around me. Oh yes and I'd love to have a nice glass of sweetened ice tea to drink:O) I live in Kentucky and have all my life with the exception of the time I lived on various bases as I was an enlisted Woman Marine.
