My mom used to work in the school cafeteria in Oxford, MA in the 60's. I am desperately looking for a recipe they had for dessert. If any one knows of this PLEASE let me know. As far as I can remember, It was made with yellow cake made in a 13x9. When cool, use floss to cut in half the long way.Put half of the cake on the bottom of the 13x9. Poke holes in it and pour cherry jello on it. Next, mix dream whip according to pkg and add cream cheese and mix thoroughly. Spread half on cake and then half the cherry pie filling, do this twice. I'd like to know if anyone knows any variations or has the original recipe in case I don't remember so well! Thanx in advance
