About me
I am a divorced mother of three beautiful girls!!! I teach art and of course COOK!! The kids and I are experimental with lot of various cusines. We are kinda partial to Southern cooking and Mexican but that doesn't stop us from trying different things! NEWS FLASH...for me anyway, found out I am diabetic soooo I am watching the carbs, no white potates or flour, etc..etc...Including the herb Stevia in my diet while teetering off my Diet Mountain Dews and Pepsi One's...bad bad stuff for the kidney' s and brain. If you are interested in an alternative to sugar or unhealthy sugar substitutes, I recommend you looking into Stevia. It is really great and most importantly SAFE. I have started a group Stevia recipes and if there is anyone out there who wants to join please look it up!

Your welcome!

Hi and thanks for being my cooking buddy! Can't wait to start sharing recipes!

Hi Gigi. I've been meaning to tell you I tried your Chinese Pork Chops Less Sugar as promised. They were very good. I used butterfly chops and split the recipe in half since it was just for my husband and me. I'm glad you recommend using less sodium soy sauce. Otherwise it would have been too salty. I also used fresh garlic cloves and let the whole thing marinate overnight.

Thanks for a great recipe. One we will definitely have again.

Chichi

Gigi, made the English Pea Casserole today, to go with pork loin, and it is fantastic! We all loved it...thanks again!

Hi Gigi! :) Hope you have a great weekend! :)
~Mel (Thanks for being my cookin' buddy!) :)

Oooooookra! Glad you liked the recipe. Hope you enjoy the finished dish as well. - Susana

PS I've got the Chinese Pork Chops on the menu for this weekend and Chops on the grocerie list. Can't wait! (I'll let you know how they turn out. I hope I can find Splenda brown sugar. Schnucks should have it.) For dessert I'm making Lorisrecipes Diabetic Fruit Crisp for the first time too!
