About me
About me .... hmmmm ... I'm married with two sons and one daughter-in-law and two doggies. I work for the state so I'm sure to go to heaven since I work in hell. I survived cancer at age 15 and now at age 47 I have a different cancer that can't be cured. It's not a fatal thing but more of a constant thing. I have non Hodgkins Lymphoma which has reared it's ugly head as a bone marrow cancer in my case. I have had one chemo round and it looks like I have to have another in a few weeks. I am always pretty tired and weak so I like recipes that don't have me standing in the kitchen for long periods of time. I recently bought my first electric skillet and was searching for recipes which is what brought me here. I hope to find many great things to cook and I plan to share some of my favorite recipes. Since today is July 4th I will say HAPPY 4TH of JULY everyone! :-)
