About me
I am the mother of 2 and grandmother of 2. My husband and I moved to Tampa in June of 2005 from Gulfport, MS, thankfully, 2 months before Hurricane Katrina devastated my old neighborhood. I consider myself a southern cook, since learned how to cook when I moved to Alabama, but have lived all over the US, Santiago, Chile and Panama Canal Zone. Here in Tampa I am 3 blocks away from the fish monger, Argentine meat market and 3 miles from the 24/7 veggie/fruit outdoor market. This makes cooking very easy. My kitchen is tiny and this is a problem since I always make a mess. Baking is not my thing except for homemade breads.
