About me
I've been in the kitchen since a preschooler, standing on a chair to load the fruit jars or "frosting" a cake placed on the oven door of the wood stove. I won 4-H awards and wowed my highschool sweetheart with my cooking. Through the years I've owned every kitchen gadget, spent a lot of fun time reading recipes, and trying out most ingredients. My favorites now are baking a batch of bread with whatever I can find, eating only "foods" that "nourish", and modifying my grocery list and garbage can size at the same time.
